Quantum’s Home Concrete Leveling Process

At Quantum Concrete Leveling, we use a process that has been refined and perfected over years of service. Our focus is on poly leveling, which raises concrete using a polyurethane foam.

Here’s how it works:

  1. We locate the impacted concrete and diagnosed the issue. This helps us determine how much poly foam will be needed to get the concrete level.
  2. We drill tiny holes in the affected concrete to gain access to the soil below.
  3. We insert poly foam through the holes using a hydraulic pump. As the poly foam expands, it raises the concrete. During this step, we may walk or jump on the concrete to ensure a good fill.
  4. We remove the pump, refill the holes with new concrete, and clean up the small amount of debris created by the process.
  5. Within a day, you can enjoy your concrete again!

Polyurethane foam is a super strong, highly durable, and permanent material that will not shift, erode, or warp over time, no matter how much pressure is put upon it from above. Poly foam is lightweight, about four pounds per cubic foot, meaning it will not contribute to further soil movement that can impact the concrete above. Poly foam also dries incredibly quickly, usually within a few hours. After 24 hours, it has cured completely and offers permanent support for your concrete slabs.
